Wedding Officiant and Ceremonial Minister Ordination

Performing A Ceremony In Rhode Island?

Rhode Island Wedding Minister OrdinationYour complete ceremonial minister credentials package for Rhode Island includes all of the documents you'll need to legally perform all of life's celebrations, including weddings, baby blessings (baptism), house blessings, re-commitment ceremonies (vow renewal), funerals, handfasting, and other rites and rituals. Ordination through First Nation as a ceremonial minister is valid and accepted anywhere in the world!

The laws in Rhode Island make it unnecessary for persons performing marriage ceremonies to file their credentials with any state or local agency, but you must hold a current and valid minister's license to perform such rites; in addition, you must present your credentials to any legal authority and/or the parties to the marriage upon their request.

In Rhode Island, ordination or investment by the Church gives each clergy member the authority to perform the marriage rite. Rhode Island and local officials in the state are removed from any responsibility for verification of minister credentials. Rhode Island does not maintain a central registry of members of the clergy, and you are not required to undergo any specific formal training. Please contact our support team for information on local regulations.

Not a resident of Rhode Island? Rhode Island does not restrict legally ordained non-resident ministers from serving in the state.

Registration Fee: The current registration fee is $32 for comprehensive (complete) ordination that is accepted in Rhode Island, as well as most states and local jurisdictions (two-year licensing term). Standard First Class shipping of your documents packet is free. (Express and priority delivery is offered at an additional fee.)

Don't require complete Rhode Island State minister ordination? Basic-level (limited) ordination begins at only $10.95 and is accepted in Rhode Island for resident and non-resident ceremonial ministers intending to perform a single ceremony in the state.
