How do I know when my ordination expires?
The length of your ordination term is noted on several of your documents, including your ordination certificate, letter of good standing, and credential sheet. On your ordination certificate, your start date and your ordination term are shown in the bottom-left corner of the document:

Your First Nation Marriage Ministry ordination renewal package includes updated documents required to legally perform all ceremonial rites, including weddings and other ceremonies. To view sample documents, please click here.
Ordination renewal does require you to remain in good standing with First Nation Marriage Ministry and be in continued compliance with the Officiant's Code of Professional Ethics.

STEP 5 (OPTIONAL):
If you have served as a ceremonial minister for two or more years with any church or religious organization, you are eligible to be awarded a degree causa honoris from Laurel College as part of a program developed in cooperation with the American Council of Wedding Officiants (ACWO).
This degree honors your experience and commitment to your craft as a ceremonial minister, Marriage Officiant and Celebrant, and includes a separate honors certificate and letter of conferment.
