Is your license as a ceremonial minister expiring? First Nation Marriage Ministry makes it simple to renew your ordination term and enable you to continue serving as a ceremonial minister and Certified Wedding Officiant.

Wondering why you have to renew your ordination term? Read this!

Your First Nation Marriage Ministry ordination renewal package includes updated documents required to legally perform all ceremonial rites, including weddings and other ceremonies. To view sample documents, please click here.

Ordination renewal does require you to remain in good standing with First Nation Marriage Ministry and be in continued compliance with the Officiant's Code of Professional Ethics.

Request Renewal Of Your Ordination:

STEP 1:

Please enter the full, legal name of the Officiant as it should appear on the documents.

OFFICIANT'S NAME:

Are you a doctor, or do you hold a professional title? If you prefer, you may enter your name as "Dr. Jean Smith" or "Robert Jones, Ph.D."

If your ordination term has not yet expired, your renewal will be added as an extension of your current term.

If you intend to conduct weddings in multiple states, please select the location in which you presently reside.
Under the terms of your ordination, you are permitted to serve everywhere throughout the United States.

STEP 5 (OPTIONAL):

Laurel College - Laurel Wreath Logo If you have served as a ceremonial minister for two or more years with any church or religious organization, you are eligible to be awarded a degree causa honoris from Laurel College as part of a program developed in cooperation with the American Council of Wedding Officiants (ACWO).

This degree honors your experience and commitment to your craft as a ceremonial minister, Wedding Officiant and Celebrant, and includes a separate honors certificate and letter of conferment.
